"Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth". Col. 3:2 For most of us this seems to be a daily challenge. We know our Heavenly Father always encourages us to commune with Him, yet the distractions we find here on earth are intense. Many things call for our attention. Many are necessary, but many are not. We each know the things that distract us from God in our own lives. God provides many tools and avenues for us to become more "heavenly minded". It may be christian radio, a sermon, a worship service, encouragement from a friend etc. God does many things to get our attention. My wife and I, along with friends and family have used a system daily for years to remind us to be more aware of prayer. We've used various electronic alerts in synchronization to cue us to think about and pray to our Heavenly Father, in unison. In doing this together we become aware of God and each other at the same moment. This has encouraged our lives in countless ways, even creating accountability which I find very helpful. It goes with out saying that PrayerLink will never take the place of our personal times of intimacy with the Lord, yet for us it is an exciting enhancement to our prayer journey with God. We are very excited to be a part of PrayerLink. This technology allows us to link with more and more people who desire to turn to God in united prayer and praise. You make PrayerLink what it is and what it will become. You are the first of many who will join and give praise to Jesus Christ at these special times. We ask you to encourage others who you love and respect to join PrayerLink. We are working on other products that will be used to accomplish the same goal as the cellphone ministry. Please keep us in your prayers as we strive to provide tools to the Body of Christ so we can together unite with one voice and declare "...God is good and His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever..." 2 Chron. 5:13. Man can call a prayer meeting, but only God can call a prayer movement. May His will be done. Thank you for your time and participation. It is a honor to pray with you.
