May the God of peace be with all the families and friends of deceased veterans! You have given, suffered and lost and only God can "restore the years the locust have eaten" (Joel 2:25). We pray you will turn to Him for such restoration after sacrificing so much. And, we honor the memory of your loved ones for setting a great example of loyalty, patriotism, and duty.

Hebrews 11 is known as the "Faith Hall of Fame". It could be considered the Christian "Memorial Day" chapter as it lists many who gave, suffered and lost in obedience to God's call on their lives. As we are reminded of those "witnesses" and encouraged to follow their examples in our walk with the Lord we are led in 12:1-2 to the greatest example of obedience and sacrifice, Jesus.

At this time, we, at PrayerLink, honor Him, those faith-filled "witnesses" of Hebrews 11, and the faithful deceased who gave their lives in service to our great "One nation under God".
