Prayer link is a new ministry, a new concept, and a new website. Prayer Link was started by a diverse group of Christians dedicated to praying together, every day, at the same time. 

Joining couldn't be easier, and at least for the moment, all of our website services are available at no charge. 

Prayer Link Testing

At this moment, we are testing everything. The computer guys would call this a Beta Test, but we're just calling it our testing phase.

For a short while, everything on our website is available to Registered Members at no charge. In the future, we may charge a modest fee for some of our services, to help us cover our expenses and expand the ministry. We also expect to sell advertising for the same reason. We may offer a premium membership, one that is not supported by advertising.

Until then, please take advantage of all we have to offer. Right now, our services include:

• Receive Prayer Reminders on your cell phone
• Receive Prayer Reminders via email
• Member Discussion Forums
• Polls
• Prayer Requests

We also expect to offer web logs (sometimes called blogs or web journals) in the near future, along with special prayer requests and the ability to coordinate prayers among members of your church.

About Alerts

Prayer Link sends prayer reminders three (3) times every day. The goal is to have everybody pray at the same time, so if you tell us what time zone you're in, we'll schedule your alerts so you receive it at the correct time for your time zone. We do offer a few alternative times so you don't receive alerts when you are normally sleeping.

About Cell Phone Alerts

If you choose to receive cell-phone alerts, please be aware that Prayer Link will send a minimum of three (3) text messages, also known as SMS or Short Message Service messages, to you every day. We may send more. You need to understand that your cell-phone carrier may charge you for each of these messages. Most cell phone carriers offer plans that allow you to receive a large number of text messages for a single flat-price fee. Prayer Link recommends that you sign up for one of these text messaging plans.

Email Alerts are sent via the Internet. While we make every effort to have these alerts arrive in your email in box in time for you to participate in Prayer Link's Pray As One, there are too many variables for us to insure that your reminder arrives on time.
